The Windmill World of Daban captured June 20, 2015. The Windmill World of Daban city, Urumqi, Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region, has become a beautiful landscape. Daban district is the newest urban area in Urumqi. During the 11th Five-Year Plan initiative, work on the construction of the China Wind Valley project started in Daban district. The first phase of the construction of a 1 million-kilowatt wind power base has been completed. Goldwind Technology (002202) 5,000-kW demonstration wind farm has been put into operation, achieving an installed capacity of 1.3 million kW of wind power.
