Tianshan Grand Canyon, also known as Kuqa Grand Canyon, is located at the southern foot of Tianshan Mountain. It is a north-south curve, consisting of the main valley and seven canyons with a length of 7.5 kilometers and a widest point of 53 meters. In 2005, Tianshan Grand Canyon was named as one of the 10 most beautiful gorges in the world by National Geographic Magazine. It was dubbed one of China’s 10 most beautiful canyons and became a national geopark in 2013. [Photo/IC]
