Qingdao hosts international exchange on life sciences, healthcare

Over 150 representatives from more than 100 Fortune 500 companies and industry-leading organizations, including AstraZeneca, Medtronic, and Bayer, gathered in Qingdao on Aug 29 for the Life and Health Industry International Cooperation and Innovation Development Exchange Conference, a key part of the fifth Qingdao Multinationals Summit.

Executives from these global corporations shared their latest achievements and insights into the life sciences and healthcare industry, expressing a strong commitment to deepening their investment in the Chinese market and strengthening cooperation with Qingdao.

The event also included the unveiling ceremony of the alliance for the integration and collaboration of rehabilitation industry and talent, as well as the appointment ceremony for entrepreneurship mentors in the rehabilitation medical industry.

Qingdao has a strong foundation in international trade, with economic ties to over 230 countries and regions.
