China Songshan Shaolin International Marathon
China Songshan Shaolin International Marathon has been held in Dengfeng county, Zhengzhou, every October or November since 2014. It is the world’s only marathon event combining religious culture and themed on tourism and nature.
The 2018 event was held at the Shaolin temple scenic spot, Oct 28. The event was the largest edition, drawing 20,180 participants from 22 countries and regions, as well as 1,500 martial arts performers and about 800 volunteers.
