Jilin deputy suggests cultivation of high-level technical workers

Yang Yongxiu, a deputy to the National People's Congress (NPC) and senior technician at the China FAW Research and Development Institute in Jilin province, has been focusing his efforts on technological breakthroughs in the field of new energy vehicles.

Yang and his colleagues are driving the rapid development of domestically produced electric vehicles amid the transformation of China's automotive industry.

In 2023, Yang was elected as a deputy to the 14th NPC. During the first session of the 14th NPC, he submitted three proposals focused on promoting the cultivation of high-level technical talents in the field of new energy vehicles, and supporting the transformation and upgrading of the automotive industry. These proposals quickly received serious responses from relevant national departments and ministries.

With this year's National Two Sessions approaching, Yang continues to pay attention to the automotive industry. Not only does he put forward his own suggestions, but he also aims to bring positive voices from the Two Sessions back to the workshop to share with his colleagues.
