The China International Consumer Electronics Show (SINOCES) was launched in 2002, and approved by the State Council as China’s only international exhibition of consumer electronics (CE).

SINOCES takes place in Qingdao, Shandong province every July. It is the only CE exhibition jointly hosted by the Ministry of Commerce, the Ministry of Science and Technology, and the People’s Government of Shandong Province, and is supported by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.

Over the years, SINOCES has fulfilled its role as China’s largest trade fair for doing business in the CE industry, benefiting from the country’s stable economic environment, the government’s supportive industrial policies, and the attractive potential of the domestic market.

SINOCES 2019 kicked off in Qingdao on July 19. Covering an exhibition area of 25,000 square meters, the event attracted 179 worldwide renowned enterprises, such as Haier, Aucma, Huawei, and Mercedes-Benz, displaying their products featuring 5G, IoT, smart family products, cloud computing, robotics, AR, VR, drones, autonomous vehicle technologies, new energy vehicles, and 3D printing.

The four-day event had a total of 51,451 visitors, while the cumulative domestic trade volume reached 714 million yuan ($102 million).
