The China International Fair for Trade in Service, scheduled to be held from Thursday through Tuesday in Beijing, will feature a special section combining culture and tourism for the first time and display related sci-tech innovations, organizers said.
This year's CIFTIS exhibition for culture and tourism will take place in three venues at Shougang Park, a former steel plant in Beijing's western Shijingshan district, they said at a news conference on Monday.
It will be held both online and in person.New services and business models in the culture sector will also be presented. More than 1,100 companies and institutions, including 60 international businesses have registered to participate.
Two forums on culture and tourism will be held during the fair, including a summit on the development of China's cultural sector and an annual convention for cooperation and the development of global tourism. A number of works of art and works related to the centennial of the Communist Party of China will also be introduced to the public during the event.
