China International Big Data Industry Expo

The China International Big Data Industry Expo was the first exhibition in the world with a theme centered on big data. After three consecutive years, the expo has become a grand and global gathering for the big data industry.

The event is jointly hosted by the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Commerce, the Cyberspace Administration, and the Guizhou Provincial People’s Government.

Held in May every year in Guizhou’s Guiyang city, the expo highlights “Global Vision,” “National Interests,” “Industry Roles,” and “Corporate Responsibilities.”

The expo has been carefully planned to provide the ultimate aesthetic experience over the past four years. Relevant, safe, and highly successful, the expo has broken its own records repeatedly in terms of the level of guests, organizational innovation, scale, and achievements.

In particular, the unprecedented 2018 expo received over 120,000 visitors. Its 60,000 square meter exhibition space featured 388 domestic and foreign entities. Its themed events included the AI Global Contest, “Journey of Big Data Expo,” and “Digital Valley Night.” In addition, more than 50 leading technologies, such as ‘black technologies’ or cutting edge technologies, 100 big data scenarios, and the Top Ten big data applications, were launched.

The expo has also drawn the attention of social sectors, as the world’s most influential entrepreneurs, experts, scholars, statesmen, delegates of international organizations and research institutes, as well as media professionals, gather together to share the new opportunities of the big data era, discussing the new products, new plans, new technologies, new findings, and new models with respect to big data from all corners of the world.

In 2019, the China International Big Data Industry Expo maintained its focus on industry frontiers and mutually beneficial cooperation. High-end dialogues, forums, contests, exhibitions, and other colorful events spotlighted the latest technical innovations and achievements, providing an international platform for the interaction, presentation, and promotion of hi-tech companies, enabling them to tap into the infinite business opportunities and unlimited potential of big data.
