China Hi-Tech Fair

China Hi-Tech Fair, which debuted in 1999, is co-hosted in Shenzhen every year in November by Ministries and Commissions of the national government and Shenzhen municipal people’s government.

Currently, it is the largest and most influential scientific and technological fair in China and is renowned as “the No.1 Technology Show in China”.

For each CHTF, the total exhibition area exceeds 100,000 square meters, with nearly 3,000 exhibitors from more than 50 countries and over 500,000 visitors attending.

At every CHTF, attendees include Chinese ministries, provinces, Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, universities, as well as foreign delegations and renowned enterprises from over 100 countries and regions, bringing with them the latest products and technologies.

Themed around "Invigorating the Greater Bay Area through Opening-up and Innovation," the 2019 CHTF featured 19 exhibitions in areas such as energy conservation and environmental protection, new materials, smart cities and smart healthcare, as well as an optoelectronics display and three sub venues, including a talent fair.

The total exhibition area in 2019 reached 142,000 sq m, attracting 3,315 exhibitors to showcase 10,216 hi-tech projects, covering various fields spanning artificial intelligence, smart manufacturing, big data, cloud computing, as well as the commercial application of 5G.

During the fair, 256 activities, such as high-end forums, salons, and technical meetings, were also held. CHTF 2019 attracted 576,000 visitors from 108 countries and regions, with every booth receiving an average of 246 professional visitors per day.
