China Yiwu International Commodities Fair

The China Yiwu International Commodities Fair has been held annually from Oct 21-25 in Yiwu, Zhejiang province, since 1995.

Co-hosted by the Ministry of Commerce and the Zhejiang Provincial Government, the fair has been held for 25 consecutive sessions. The Standardization Administration has been one of the host units since the 25th fair, when it was renamed the China Yiwu International Commodities (Standards) Fair.

The fair has become the largest, most influential, and most effective consumer goods exhibitions in China. It is currently one of three export commodity exhibitions organized by the Ministry of Commerce. It was rated as one of China’s top 10 most powerful trade import and export exhibitions and top 10 most influential brand exhibitions. It has also been certified by the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry.

The 24th China Yiwu International Commodities Fair boasted an exhibition area of 100,000 square meters, with 4,136 booths. A total of 2,150 domestic and overseas enterprises, including Tencent and Haier, attended the fair, displaying their products covering hardware, mechanical engineering, electric appliances, handiwork, office supplies, toys, car accessories, and clothing.
