Zhengzhou Museum

Zhengzhou Museum was set up in 1957, and is located on the site of the memorial hall for martyrs of the Northern Expeditionary Army built in 1928 by Feng Yuxiang (1882-1948), a famous strategist and statesman. The museum was reconstructed in 1997 and opened to the public in 1999. The new site covers one hectare, with the main exhibition hall covering 8,337 sq m. The museum has about 30,000 items covering 20 categories such as bronze ware, chinaware, statues, stone inscriptions, ancient currencies, gold, silver and jade ware, paintings and calligraphy.
