Northeast Petroleum University

Established in 1960, Northeast Petroleum University (NEPU) is a higher education institution located in the city of Daqing, Heilongjiang province.

Officially accredited and recognized by the Department of Education, Heilongjiang province, NEPU is a large coeducational higher education institution. It offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study.

As a national key university and provincial regular institution of higher learning, the university mainly offers undergraduate program with increasingly enlarging graduate program. There are 11 engineering specialties that can award master of engineering degree. It has national key disciplines and key laboratories of China Ministry of Education.
