The ancient State of Ju, hidden along the Yi and Shu rivers in Southeast Shandong province, once stood as a state that even the mighty states of Qi and Chu treated with respect.

Now, the Shandong Museum invites you to rediscover this forgotten power through the special exhibition Dignified and Refined: The Culture of the State of Ju.

From archaeological discoveries unveiled to the public for the first time, to intricate bronze ritual vessels and ingenious designs, the exhibition reveals a civilization of elegance, order, and authority, offering a fresh perspective on the rich heritage of Shandong.

Dates: Until April 2026
