The Yili Grassland Dairy Culture Museum is the only museum in China dedicated to showcasing the evolution of dairy culture. It highlights the development of dairy traditions in the northern grasslands, the history of nomadic peoples, and the transformation of the modern dairy industry. The museum serves as a professional platform to explore the story of China's northern nomads and the journey of the nation's dairy industry.
The museum now comprises three major tourism sections and two cultural tourism products: the Intelligent Manufacturing Experience Center, the Liquid Milk Planet, and the Milk Powder Planet, as well as Yili cultural creative products and educational tourism programs.
These sections create an immersive experience-based tourism model, allowing visitors to participate in industrial production, enjoy high-tech visual presentations, and satisfy their curiosity about dairy culture and technology.
The museum houses a collection of 4,125 artifacts, including cultural relics of grassland dairy traditions, folk artifacts, and early dairy production equipment. This unique collection highlights the region’s deep-rooted dairy culture.
Through exhibitions, lectures, and interactive experiences, visitors can immerse themselves in the charm of grassland dairy culture while gaining insights into its historical and cultural significance. The museum is a must-visit destination for those seeking to explore the heritage and innovation of China's dairy industry.
