The Shaanxi Nature Museum, a national first-class museum and an AAAA-rated tourist attraction, has received numerous accolades, including being named a National Science Popularization Education Base. Opening in January 2008, the museum is shaped like a planet and crescent moon, symbolizing the harmony of the sun and moon, with a total area of 16,000 square meters.

The museum consists of the Natural Exhibition Hall, the Kenneth E. Behring Natural History Museum, the Science Exploration Center (currently under construction), the Dome Theater, the 5D Dynamic Theater, and an outdoor science education area.

The Natural Exhibition Hall offers a conversation with history and nature through specimens from 3.7 billion years ago.
