Yiwu, a county-level city in Jinhua, Zhejiang province, opened the Yiwu Selection (Vietnam) showroom in Ho Chi Minh City on Dec 4 local time. Representatives from major industries in Yiwu such as cosmetics, stationery, and sporting goods, as well as Vietnamese buyers, attended the event.

China and Vietnam, longstanding trade partners, enjoy robust economic ties, with Yiwu fostering a close relationship with Vietnam in various sectors. From January to October this year, Yiwu's trade with Vietnam reached $893 million, marking a 25.0 percent increase year-on-year.

The Yiwu Selection (Vietnam) showroom showcases a diverse range of products, from daily consumer goods to jewelry, small appliances, and baby products. By leveraging Yiwu's supply chain resources and local logistics networks, it aids Yiwu enterprises in penetrating the Vietnamese market, offering comprehensive services from supply chains to end consumers through e-commerce and warehousing logistics.

On the opening day, Yiwu entrepreneurs engaged in productive discussions with Vietnamese buyers, resulting in a number of promising cooperation agreements.

At present, Yiwu has 14 overseas showrooms in 13 countries including Japan, Spain, and Brazil, facilitating international market expansion for its enterprises.
