Developed by BYD to address urban traffic congestion, the BYD SkyShuttle is a low-capacity rail transit product that has independent intellectual property rights. It boasts high intelligence, safety, adaptability, aesthetics, low cost, and low noise levels.

It runs from Yuhuazhai Station in the north to Hengye Avenue Station in the south, covering a distance of approximately 17.2 kilometers with 18 stations along the route.

The route passes through various industrial zones and residential areas, covering several major high traffic areas. It is expected to serve around 600,000 residents on a daily basis.

After officially opening, it will not only help reduce commuting time for residents along the route, but also provide a more efficient, convenient, and seamless travel experience.

The BYD SkyShuttle operates without drivers or driver cabins, emphasizing a fully automated and autonomous operation process.

Upon its official launch, it will connect with Xi'an metro lines 3, 6, and 15 (under construction). Passengers can purchase tickets on-site or use the Chang'antong card or the Xi'an Cloud Bus WeChat applet.
