National horse racing event takes place in Hohhot city

The China Speed Horse Racing Open 2023 (Hohhot division) took place in Hohhot, capital city of North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, on Sept 16.

The event is one of the series of activities in the 24th Zhaojun Culture Festival calendar.

The China Speed Horse Racing Open is a national-level equestrian competition organized by the Chinese Equestrian Association. Since its inception in 2008, it's been held 10 consecutive years in Inner Mongolia, with Hohhot playing host the past six times.

After a decade of development, the China Speed Horse Racing Open (Hohhot division) has become a top event nationwide and a famous brand in the sport of kings.

The competition attracted top riders and horse enthusiasts from across the country, showing their skills and the speed of both horses and jockeys. Spectators were treated to thrilling races and a vibrant atmosphere.
