Global Youth Innovation, Entrepreneurship Forum held in Shandong

The Global Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Forum, part of the 2023 Global Youth Conference, was held on July 7 in Jinan, capital of Shandong province.

About 200 people attended the event, including representatives from international economic and trade organizations, domestic and foreign youth associations, innovation and entrepreneurship incubation institutions, investment institutions, and industrial parks.

The forum was co-sponsored by the Shandong Youth Federation, the Foreign Affairs Office of Shandong Provincial People's Government and Shandong People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries.

Focusing on innovation and entrepreneurship, a topic of common concern to young people from all over the world, the forum set up a platform for participants to discuss and learn from each other, so as to engage more young people to participate in practical cooperation on innovation and entrepreneurship.

At the forum, the Shandong Youth Federation and five international youth organizations, including the CEE-China Association for Science and Technology Exchange, jointly signed an agreement for exchange and cooperation. Twelve key foreign investment projects were signed with a total value of 5.16 billion yuan ($713.2 million).

Twenty-two international cooperation industrial parks at or above the provincial level also held a project matchmaking meeting during the event.
