Baotou starts national photography exhibition

The opening ceremony for the first "Beautiful Baotou" National Photography Exhibition was held on June 29.

The exhibition aims to collect photographic and video works reflecting Baotou's cultural civilization, ecological landscape, cultural customs, resource industry, and urban and rural development.

This event aims to let people from all walks of life enjoy the natural scenery and humanistic temperament of Baotou, while creating an influential photography exhibition and exchange platform.

"We must capture the changes in the new era of Baotou with our lenses, and show Baotou's rapid development with our works," said Zhang Yibin, honorary vice chairman of the Baotou Photographers Association.

During the exhibition, Baotou's scenic spots will be open to members of the China Film Association for free.

The photography exhibition will wrap up on Aug 1. During its run, a series of photographic exhibitions such as one featuring famous artists' works, a banner-county-district joint exhibition, and another promoting China will be displayed at various times. The best works will be exhibited in volumes.
