Shanxi spotlights cultural industries at Shenzhen fair

The 19th China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair opened in Shenzhen, a port city in South China's Guangdong province, on June 7 for its five-day run.

At the Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center, the 504-square-meter Shanxi exhibition hall consists of various display sections highlighting Shanxi culture in a series of theme-based images, as well as cultural and tourism integration, cultural heritage protection, and excellent cultural enterprises. 

The hall also comprises an investment promotion area, and a live broadcast area. 

More than 1,000 products in 30 categories made by 47 cultural enterprises in Shanxi have been put on display at the fair. 

During the event, Shanxi's investment promotion area will focus on 230 investment promotion projects, covering media integration, cultural tourism, health care, cultural creativity, cultural parks, publishing and printing, animation and game, and characteristic cultural towns. It will also provide high-quality services for exhibitors in terms of investment negotiations and business cooperation. 

Meanwhile, the live broadcast teams of Shanxi's cultural and tourism departments and exhibitors will carry out live streaming and cultural tourism promotions in the live broadcast area to showcase Shanxi's cultural resources, products and enterprises. 

This year's fair is being held both online and offline, with 3,596 government groups, enterprises and institutions participating.
