The 4th Western Digital Economy Expo is set to kick off in Xi'an, capital of Northwest China's Shaanxi province, on June 16-18, according to the city's bureau of big data management.

The expo is geared towards speeding up the integration of digital technology in various sectors of the economy, society, and culture, showcasing the latest advancements in digital transformation in western China.

The three-day event will encompass a main forum, a sprawling 30,000-square-meter expo, nine industrial development-themed activities, as well as numerous sub-forums and supporting events. The spotlight will be on the Qinchuangyuan innovation-driven platform, deepening the digital economy's integration with the real economy.

Since its establishment, the expo has gained immense popularity with leading academicians from the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Chinese Academy of Engineering as well as industry leaders. Over 200 experts and scholars delivered speeches, and more than 50 municipal governments have organized delegations to participate, alongside more than 300 leading companies showcased their latest technologies.

The Western Digital Economy Expo is an excellent opportunity for companies to display their newest products, and for experts and scholars to share their knowledge and insights regarding the latest digital trends. As western China continues to promote digital transformation and integration with the real economy, the expo plays a critical role in stimulating cooperation and innovation throughout the region.
