The second National Reading Conference will be held in Hangzhou, capital of East China's Zhejiang province, from April 23 to 25.
This year, the event will feature an online metaverse sub conference for the first time. More than 30 activities will be held in conjunction with the conference to create a good reading atmosphere.
In addition, a number of reports and lists will be released during the conference. Among them would be the 20th national reading survey report that showcases the development achievements of reading in China over the past year.
During the conference, 160 branch meetings will be held in Xinhua bookstores across the province.
