Xi'an to promote development of Qinchuangyuan platform in 2023

The Xi'an bureau of science and technology will make every effort in the current year to promote the construction of its Qinchuangyuan innovation-driven platform – to help Xi'an, capital of Northwest China's Shaanxi province, achieve its goal of becoming a national innovation city.

The general window of Qinchuangyuan will be supported to apply for the demonstration zone for the transfer of national scientific and technological achievements.

This year, Xi'an will build 150 Qinchuangyuan demonstration platforms – for incubators, accelerators for achievement transformations, and for the promoters of industry supply chains and innovation chains – as well as 10 Qinchuangyuan general window collaborative innovation bases.

What's more, Xi'an will aim to train up to 1,200 technology transfer talents, promote more than 600 sci-tech achievement transformation projects, and establish 150 "scientists + engineers" teams above the municipal level.

Xi'an is projected to become home to more than 11,000 national high-tech enterprises and more than 13,000 technology-based small and medium-sized enterprises.

Also, efforts will be made to introduce more major science and technology infrastructure – to create a source for key and core technology innovation, a place for emerging industries and the first choice for top talents.
