Barrier-free path put into use in Jinbian Stream Scenic Area

Recently, the barrier-free path was put into use in Jinbian Stream Scenic Area before the first Hunan Tourism Development Conference was held.

As the only canyon scenic route that requires walking the whole line in the core area of Zhangjiajie, Jinbian Stream Scenic Area is 7.5 kilometers long with walking trails of 5.7 kilometers.

In order to enhance human-oriented and standard touring services, as well as meet the sightseeing needs of people with limited mobility, the local authorities have started to renovate the walking trails of Jinbian Stream since the end of July 2022, constructing barrier-free accesses along all routes, including stair lift for disabled people in environmental toilets.

The barrier-free accesses along the whole line mark a new starting point for the improvement of the scenic area, showing both the concept of green ecological development and the human-oriented service concept of the scenic area.
