Mount Tai in Tai'an, Shandong province, which is a world cultural and natural heritage site, and Jingtan, a digital collections APP, released two digital collections to the public at 10 am on April 27.

The two digital collections are meant to boast the culture of Mount Tai, and meet the admiration and collection needs of both Chinese and foreign visitors.

Focused on the restoration of traditional culture, the two digital collections are the digital restoration and re-creation of parts of a huge mural in Tiankuang Hall in Dai Temple, which is located at the foot of Mount Tai.

The one and only mural nationwide, which is 3.3 meters tall and 62 m long, started being painted in the Song Dynasty (960-1279), and depicts the big tour scene of the God of Mount Tai, including various characters, horses, camels, rides, mountains, rocks, trees, pavilions, and bridges.
