Thousands of tourists recently flocked to Mount Tai in Tai'an, East China's Shandong province to see the leaves of ginkgo trees that have a history of more than 1,000 years turn golden yellow, which have created pristine autumn scenes.

The trees are situated in Yuquan Temple on Mount Tai. Recently, the temple has received even more visitors than usual as people are coming from miles away to admire the fluttering falling leaves.
