The 20th China Changchun International Agriculture and Food Fair Expo (CCIAFF) is to be held in Changchun, Northeast China's Jilin province, from Aug 13-22, according to local media reports.
Initiated in 2000, the government-led expo has been held 19 times and has become a key event in China's agricultural sector.
This year's CCIAFF will have 41 exhibitions and sessions in three major sections: brand exhibitions, facilities and equipment; industry demonstrations and science education; and economic events and trade forums.
Agricultural products, the latest equipment, new technology, various foods, light industrial products, and folk cultural items will be on display at the expo, as well as displays about rural revitalization achievements.
A themed exhibition hall in celebration of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China will be set up, fully demonstrating the glorious course of the Party and the country, and the development and transformation of agriculture over the past century.
