The 2021 Global Technology Transfer Fair, or Inno-Match Expo, was held at the Shanghai Exhibition Center from May 31 to June 2, and Liangjiang New Area's four cutting-edge technologies made their debuts during the Chongqing session.

The conference reportedly focused on technology transfers and technology managers, attracting global innovation resources and innovation think tanks to gather in Shanghai. Representatives from well-known domestic and international institutions, innovative enterprises and research institutes were also invited to exchange their thoughts on technology transfers.

The Chongqing innovation center at the Beijing Institute of Technology brought three indigenously developed technologies focused on the micro-nano structure of glass, hyper-spectral computed imaging and ground-based interference radar. According to Zhou Tianfeng, a professor at the innovation center, the research on the micro-nano structure of glass can help solve the bottlenecks associated with high-end optical lenses. The market scale of the technology is estimated to reach 80 billion yuan ($12 billion).

The center's research on hyper-spectral computed imaging equipment can be applied in environmental monitoring, targeted agriculture, public security and medical diagnoses.

During the session, the Chongqing 2D Materials Institute exhibited its technological results in graphene composites with high thermal conductivity.

Wang Sanhuan, president of Chongqing Liangjiang New Area's technological innovation bureau, said that the fair is a global platform that allows the new area to showcase more of its advanced technologies and seek potential partnerships at home and abroad.
