Dubbed the "kingdom of bronze wares", the Suizhou Museum boasts a capital holding of bronze wares dating back to the Western Zhou Dynasty (c.11th century-771 BC). The bronze wares of the Stateof E and the State of Zeng (the State of Zeng is also known as the State of Sui, and lay where today's Suizhou is located according to archeological finds) from the Zhou Dynasty (c.11th century-256 BC) are the most impressive treasures of the museum.
