The 17th China (Changchun) International Auto Expo kicked off on July 10 in Changchun -- capital of Northeast China's Jilin province -- and will run until July 19, according to local reports.

More than 1,400 vehicles are being exhibited online and offline, setting a record.

They are from around 150 automobile brands, including Chinese automakers FAW, BAIC Motor, SAIC Moto, and GAC Group, as well as world-renowned brands such as Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Rolls-Royce, Ferrari, and Porsche.

Organizers said that the physical exhibition covers an area of 203,000 square meters and the main exhibition venue is the Changchun International Conference and Exhibition Center, covering 150,000 sq m and featuring eight indoor halls, four outdoor halls and live streaming areas.

The branch venues are set at the second-hand car market and some 4S shops on Kaixuan Road, covering areas totaling 53,000 sq m, the organizers added.
