A total of 10 heavy trucks loaded with 300 tons of agricultural products set out from Jinan, Shandong province on the night of Feb 17, heading for Wuhan in Central China's Hubei province.

The agricultural products donated to Wuhan consist of 90 tons of potatoes, 30 tons of white gourds, 90 tons of onions and 90 tons of cabbages.

The fresh vegetables, worth more than one million yuan ($144,927.53), were raised by the China Silk Corporation and Jinan government from cities around Shandong province.

The vegetables are easy to store and will be received by the Wuhan commerce bureau, which will help increase the city's supply of daily necessities as it fights the novel coronavirus pneumonia.
