Conference highlights latest 5G+AI technologies

A conference focusing on the latest artificial intelligence, big data, and 5G technologies in emerging media was held in Jinan, capital of East China's Shandong province, on Nov 26.

Sun Shutao, mayor of Jinan, delivered a keynote speech in which he emphasized the strong potential of Jinan's emerging media industry. Big data, internet of things and 5G technologies have the ability to further integrate the modern media sector, he said.

A production exhibition was also staged during the conference which gathered more than 30 leading tech companies including Tencent, JD.com and Alibaba Cloud, offering visitors the chance to experience 5G+AI applications in the field of healthcare, transportation, education and entertainment.

The event was jointly hosted by Xinhua Agency and the Jinan government.
