Hefei excels at fostering high-tech enterprises

A total of 48 Hefei companies, specializing in automobiles, home appliances, flat panel display screens, new energy, and voice recognition technology, made the 2018 Anhui Province Top 100 High-tech Enterprises List.

The 48 firms were noted for their innovation and advanced core technologies, with many of them being leaders in their field, such as Hefei BOE Optoelectronics Technology, Sungrow Power Supply, and iFLYTEK.

Twenty companies in Hefei National High-tech Industry Development Zone made the list. The zone is home to 1025 high-tech enterprises, accounting for half of the city's total.
