Qinghai Red Cross Hospital

Qinghai Red Cross Hospital, set up in October 1949, is a 3A-grade comprehensive hospital integrating medical treatment, teaching, scientific research, disease prevention, healthcare, rehabilitation and supervision.

The hospital covers 4.4 hectares with a building area of 143,800 square meters. It has a helipad on top of the outpatient and emergency building to carry out plateau telemedicine first aid.

It has 54 clinical departments, 10 medical laboratories, three intensive care units and 1,870 beds. The annual patient number of outpatient and emergency departments has reached 650,100 and the hospital conducted 21,700 surgical operations in 2018.

The hospital has 2,926 staff members, with 261 holding middle or senior titles and six are foreign experts. It has established the first chest pain center with national authentication in Qinghai province.

The hospital owns over 3,200 sets of advanced medical equipment such as fully automatic biochemical analyser, chemiluminescence immune system, multi-function c-arm shadow system, Clinac CX medical linear accelerator and automatic preparation dyeing system.
