Jinfo Mountain boasts magnificent natural beauty. Listed as a UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site, the area is famous for its karst topography. It is a unique landscape of eroded limestone, producing ridges, towers, fissures and sinkholes. Many Chinese provinces in the country's southwest and northwest have opened such scenic parks to introduce these landforms to tourists.
