Bozhou Chinese Medicine Exchange Center was founded in December 2014 with registered capital of 200 million yuan ($28.4 million). Invested by Heilongjiang-based ZBD Pharmaceutical, the center is China's first spot trading platform for bulk traditional Chinese medicines (TCM).

Occupying 1.02 million square meters, the center has an offline smart market of 12,000 sq m, and a warehouse logistics base of 430,000 sq m. Having started operations in December 2014, the center provides customers with a wide range of services, including TCM trade, medicinal materials processing, and TCM cultural experiences.

In recent years, the center has paid great attention to exploring new trading modes, particularly TCM + Internet, and Online + Offline, in order to build a smart trading platform and promote the transformation and upgrading of TCM trade.
