Jingdezhen International Pottery and Porcelain Expo

Jingdezhen, renowned for its delicate porcelain, is known as the porcelain capital of China. Early in October 2004, the first Jingdezhen International Pottery and Porcelain Expo was held in a bid to exhibit local pottery and porcelain products and culture to the world.

Co-hosted by the Ministry of Commerce, China National Light Industry Council, China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, and Jiangxi Provincial Government, the expo is an event of the highest level.

Exhibitors cover representative firms in the industry from home and abroad. Visitors to the event will find all kinds of porcelain products from items for daily use to artistic pieces. As well, such interesting activities as forums, auditions and design competitions add to the fun for visitors.
