The park received its name from the luxuriant apricot trees. Covering a total area of 36,000 square meters, Apricot Blossom Village Park is located in the south of the people's square.

The wide lawns in the east and north of the park are dotted with a few ansu apricot trees and black pines, while in the south there are original dense coniferous and broad-leaved forests, as well as some kinds of shrubs and flowers. Meanwhile, the west side is served as office and sports area. The central area of the park has a pond that is about 135-meter-long and 16-meter-wide from west to east, which is also decorated with landscape stones, weeping willow, peach and plum trees rival in beauty, as well as winding alleys passing through the whole garden.

In addition, there are more than 900 trees and shrubs of 30 varieties scattered around the park, including ansu apricot, black pine, and weeping willow. Currently, nearly 600 apricot trees are planted in the park. When the breeze blows in spring, the scent of apricot blossom in Apricot Blossom Village Park assails the nostrils of visitors, which seems like spring engulfs the garden.
