Sanjiang Group

Sanjiang Group, a large State-owned farming and animal husbandry enterprise set up in August 2003 by Qinghai Provincial People's Government, has developed into a pioneer in the industry in China.

The group owns six large cattle ranches and eight modern companies along 267,330 hectares of land, including 40,667 hectares of ploughed land and 167,000 hectares of grasslands.

The group manages various kinds of businesses, such as the breeding and storage of cattle and sheep on plateaus, the planting of green rapeseed and highland barley, the cultivation and propagation of highland forage, the intensive processing of plateau potatos and the processing of organic agricultural fertilizer.

The company has also devoted efforts in developing new business, such as international trade in agriculture and animal husbandry, processing of barley wine, development of tourism resources and intelligent farming and animal husbandry.

In 2018, the operation revenue of the group reached 1.94 billion yuan ($281.52 million) and the corporate profit amounted to 60.22 million yuan.
