Qinghai Provincial People's Hospital

Qinghai Provincial People's Hospital, first established in 1927, is a 3A-grade comprehensive hospital at provincial level in Xining, Qinghai's capital.

The hospital, which offers various kinds of services covering medical treatment, teaching, scientific research, healthcare and rehabilitation, was the first hospital of such size and strong comprehensive skills established on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau.

It has 58 clinical departments and medical laboratories along with 2,600 patient beds. A total of 15 specialties are listed as provincial key specialties. In the first 11 months of 2018, the overall number of outpatient departments reached 1.3 million and the number for emergency departments amounted to 790,000. During the same period, the number of surgical operations conducted in the hospital reached 34,000.

Currently the hospital employs 3,256 staff members, with 2,912 professionals and technicians, 27 with doctorates and 430 with master's degrees.

The hospital is equipped with 790 sets of advanced medical facilities such as PET-CT, Revolution CT, Discovery IGS 730DSA, ECT, fully automatic digital X-ray machine DR, automatic biochemical immune assembly line, special protein analyzer, capsule endoscope, color doppler and hyperbaric oxygen chamber.
