Jinan No 4 People's Hospital

Jinan No 4 People's Hospital, founded in 1946, is a 3A-grade hospital offering medical treatment, scientific research, teaching and training, disease prevention, and health care. It is also an affiliated hospital to Taishan Medical University.

It covers a combined floor area of 93,927.3 square meters. After the new 60,000-sq-m medical complex building completes its construction, the total amount of patient beds the hospital holds will reach 1,400. There are 1,280 staff members in the hospital, of which 214 hold senior titles.

The hospital currently has 84 clinical and medical science departments and 10 community healthcare centers. The departments of angiocardiopathy and spondyloarthropathy are the national key clinical specialties and the provincial-level ones at the same time.

More than 1,200 high-end medical devices, including magnetic resonance imaging, spiral computed tomograph, and digital gastrointestinal machines, are available in the hospital for accurate treatment.

Over the past few years, the hospital has made 86 scientific and technological achievements, winning about 80 awards at or above the city and provincial levels, and receiving more than 40 national patents.

It has reached long-term cooperation and exchanges relationships with a number of renowned domestic and overseas medical institutions, including Rush University Medical Center in the United States, McGill University and the University of Ottawa in Canada, and Fuwai Hospital of the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences in Beijing.
