Cherry Blossom Festival of Wuhan University
“Take the high-speed rail to Wuhan for the cherry blossoms” has become a tourism slogan of the city. In March, when visitors encounter tourists speaking different dialects in Wuhan, they will realize that the season for cherry blossoms has come.
People annually view cherry blossoms at Wuhan University in Wuhan, capital of central China's Hubei province, which is known for its cherry blossom festival.
A trip down Cherry Blossoms Avenue, visitors can see nearly 200 pure Tokyo cherry trees blossoming along the 300-meter-long avenue appearing like a white jade belt floating in the air. A look down from the roof platform of Laozhaishe, the students’ dormitory building, one would find the cherry blossoms appearing like flying clouds amidst the green in the garden.
