Zhejiang entrepreneurs benefit from CEO conference of BRF

Entrepreneurs from East China's Zhejiang province attended the Belt and Road CEO Conference, part of the second Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation (BRF), in Beijing on April 25.

More than 900 representatives from global companies attended the conference seeking exchange and cooperation opportunities.

Entrepreneurs from Zhejiang, a strong economic powerhouse in China, benefited from discussions with their counterparts from around the world.

Nan Cunhui, chairman of Chint Group, an electrical components manufacturer headquartered in Hangzhou, capital of Zhejiang, talked with the company's Arab partner ACWA Power at the conference.

Nan said Chint is looking to expand overseas and hopes to find more partners and business opportunities from around the world.

"The conference is great for finding projects and investment opportunities," said Nan.

Zhejiang companies and those in countries and regions involved in the Belt and Road Initiative have expanded cooperation from basic industries such as manufacturing to high-end ones including new technology, internet and culture.

Zhejiang Panshi Information & Technology Co Ltd, a provider of network marketing solutions for companies, signed a strategic cooperation agreement with a Nepalese telecommunications operator at the CEO conference to promote the global expansion of China's digital contents.

Tian Ning, chairman of Panshi, said the agreement will be helpful in further propelling exchange between the two countries and will benefit China's Belt and Road Initiative.
