3 Rudong awards 33 entrepreneurs

Rudong county established the Jinniu Award to honor entrepreneurs for their contributions in strengthening the real economy in 2018, the first of its kind in the country.

A total of 33 entrepreneurs from such companies as Zhongtian Technology Group Ltd were honored.

According to the county, there are 608 companies above designated size, 206 of which have taxable sales revenue reaching over 100 million yuan.

4 Rudong among top five in value of listed companies

Rudong county ranked fourth among 154 counties in the Yangtze River Delta in market value of listed companies, according to a report released on Feb 21, 2018.

The report was organized by the China Center and Urban Development of the National Development and Reform Commission and the Shanghai Institute for National Economy of Shanghai Jiao Tong University.  

Zhuji, Dongyang, Linhai, and Yuhuan in Zhejiang province tied for the fourth place.

As of Dec 13 last year, 14 companies in Rudong county had gone public.
