Shangchuan and Xiachuan Islands

The two islands, Shangchuan Island and Xiachuan Island, are the most famous tourist resorts in Taishan. Although the two islands are only six miles apart, they contain different characteristics in terms of natural scenery and human landscapes.

Shangchuan Island is famous for its mountains, rocks, and strong waves, whereas Xiachuan Island is known for its gentle, exquisite, and warm nature. Shangchuan Island boasts dense forests and macaques in groups. Xiachuan Island possesses thousands of coconut trees and beautiful bays. The mysterious forest of Shangchuan Island is suitable for exploration, while the charming scenery of Xiachuan Island will provide visitors a comfortable and relaxing time.

Dameisha and Xiaomeisha Beach Areas

Dameisha Seaside Park was built on June 18, 1999, with a total investment of 120 million yuan ($17.7 million). Located in the eastern part of the Shenzhen Special Economic Zone and on the banks of the beautiful Dapeng Bay, it is a 5A-level tourist attraction in Guangdong province. It is surrounded by mountains on three sides, and the 1800-meter beach is embedded in the green mountains and seas. Xiaomeisha Beach is about 800 meters wide and is the earliest beach in Shenzhen.

Zhuhai islands

With a sea area of nearly 6,000 square kilometers, Zhuhai consists of 146 large and small islands including the Wanshan Islands. The total area of the islands is 236.9 square kilometers. The beautiful scenery of the islands has become a hot spot in Zhuhai. Famous islands such as Jiuzhou Island, Dong'ao Island, Guishan Island, Gaolan Island, and Hebao Island attracts countless tourists from all around the world every year.

Dong'ao Island is its most famous site and known as "Diamond Beach." A number of historical sites and natural scenic areas are also popular here.
