Hu Zhongxiong, mayor of Changsha
Hu Zhongxiong, born in January 1966, is of Han ethnicity from Lixian county, Hunan province. He joined the Communist Party of China (CPC) in April 1985 and entered the workforce in August 1989. He graduated from Hunan Normal University with a PhD.
Hu presides over the Changsha Municipal People's Government, including auditing for the local government and the establishment of governmental agencies.
