David Sycamore, one of the foreign judges, said the event was well organized with appropriate arrangements made for more than 6,000 couples from 45 countries and regions.

It is expected that the competition will go global and establish itself as the Oriental Blackpool Dance Festival, said Zhu Jie, vice general manager of Zhuhai Da Heng Qin Investment.

The company is optimistic about prospects of the dance cultural industry and is committed to turning the event into another Zhuhai calling card with international influence, Zhu added.
