A swarm of marvelous jellyfish are on display at the Guangdong Science Center from June 1 to mid-September, enabling Guangzhou residents to get a closer view of the exotic marine life.
According to the exhibition organizer, jellyfish first evolved about 600 million years ago, even earlier than dinosaurs.

The opening day of the exhibition coincided with International Children's Day,more than 200 children with hearing or other impairments from Guangdong Provincial Disabled Rehabilitation Center were invited to catch a first glimpse of the gelatinous animals.
