Best places to see cherry blossoms in China

Spring is the best time to see flowers blossoms. There is no better way to embrace spring than to go and immerse yourself in the blooming cherry blossoms beneath the warm sun and whispering wind.

The most popular places to see the delicate pink and white flowers across China are as follows.

1. Turtle Head Isle, Wuxi

Turtle Head Isle scenic spot in Wuxi, Jiangsu province is one of the three best places in the world to see cherry blossoms, with the other two being in Tokyo, Japan and Washington DC, United States.

There are more than 30,000 cherry blossom trees in 67 varieties planted in Turtle Head Isle. Every March and April, these pink and while flowers decorate the scenic spot transforming it into a paradise.

Tourists can choose to take a bicycle or a river boat to soak in a panoramic view of cherry blossoms. Visiting the scenic spot at night is also a good option as the cherry blossoms are more attractive against the backdrop of glittering lights.

In addition, the ongoing 2019 Turtle Head Isle International Cherry Blossom Festival will last until May 1, which will add more fun for visitors. The annual festival highlights a series of spectacle cherry blossom-themed events, including firework displays.
